Welcome to Cambridge Bears Feeder Football, Where Future Cambridge Bears Get Their Start.

We’re all about building strong players—on the field and off. Our program helps young athletes grow in skills, confidence, teamwork, and accountability as they prepare for their high school football journey.

Cambridge Feeder Football is a volunteer-run, non‑profit program with one team in each grade: 6th, 7th, and 8th. We compete in the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association (GMSAA) and proudly partner with Cambridge High School Football for coaching support, facilities, and special events.

Work hard. Have fun. Build character. Go Bears!

A Message from Cambridge High School Head Coach Tyler Jones

"Hello Cambridge families! I’m Coach Tyler Jones, Head Football Coach at Cambridge High School, and I’m thrilled to kick off this first edition of From the Bear Cave. Our Feeder Program is an integral part of Cambridge Football. It’s where young Bears grow, compete, learn our culture, and gain the experience they’ll carry onto the high school field. We are one program—one Cambridge family—and I cannot wait to watch our rising Bears take the next step this season. Let’s get into what’s coming up!"

Feeder Season “Early Bird” Registration Opens March 23

Early Bear catches the savings! We’re just a few short weeks away from early bird registration so lock in the lowest price before Spring Break.

March 23–April 5: $750
April 6–April 28: $850
After April 28: $950

Parent Meeting (Highly Encouraged!) – March 23 at 8 PM

Join us March 23 at 8pm for an important season kickoff. You’ll:

  • Hear from the coaching staff about the year ahead
  • Learn how the spring-to-fall season works
  • Get key dates and expectations
  • Have time for Q&A

This meeting sets the tone for the season, so we suggest at least one parent or guardian in attendance.

Spring Training Preview

We’re finalizing dates now, but Spring Practices will likely begin in early May. Practices will be held on weeknights at CHS, and we’re working to schedule weekend jamborees for each grade.

Coaches are also working on optional training sessions leading up to Spring Practices and you will learn more about this from your team’s Head Coach.

Meet Your 2026 Feeder Head Coaches!

We’re excited to announce this year’s lineup:

8th Grade – A.T. Gimbel
7th Grade – Austin Ragans
6th Grade – Otto Clifton

We’re thrilled to have these coaches leading our Bears this season.

A Message for New Families

If this is your family’s first year with Cambridge Feeder Football—welcome! You’re in the right place. Our program is designed so new players can jump in, learn quickly, and feel part of the team from day one. Spring Practices, the Parent Meeting, and summer conditioning will give your player everything they need to get comfortable and confident before the fall season starts. No prior experience is required—just a great attitude and a willingness to grow. We’re excited to have you join the Bear family! The parent meeting on March 23 is the best place to learn more about the program.
